The multi's that i bought a couple of days ago arn't eating. Well they get the food in there mouth and then spit it out(blood worms and flake). There are 5 of them in a 55g with no other fish an there all around 3cm long.

Ay sugestions on food that they will take?
How do you sex them or do i have to wait till there older?

Give them some time. Its only been a couple days. Bloodworms seem a little big, I would maybe try brine shrimp.

Its still early days, my multis were like that too when i got them. i even had the same food as the breeder who sold them to me!

dont feed bloodworms too often, its better to feed brine shrimp or mysis shrimp

Hold off on feeding for a day or two. Then try feeding them whatever you're going to use regularly-flake, etc. If you go with all the 'good stuff' now they may end up picky and not be willing accept anything else.

As far as sexing, do they have stripes yet?

Leave them 2 days without food & you'll see that they will be hungry & eat whatever you'll feed them.

seems like you asked this questions 6 days ago. how are they feeding now?

3 cms is a alright size, is that 3cms for the biggest multi? or are they all that size? are they all from the same spawn? usually the males are bigger. i find behaviour wise males are more likely to venture further/higher from their shell consistently more then females will. i also find the males will usually come between fighting females but females wont do the same to fighting males. hope this helps!
