Original thread is [link=here]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Cichlid%20Central/49933.html" style="COLOR: #336699[/link], and [link=this]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Cichlid%20Central/50944.html" style="COLOR: #336699[/link] is the second.

Took some new pictures today. It's probably close to 3" now. I've still not seen any agression from it towards the other fish.

So these are the latest:

the spot on the tail makes me want to say Jack Dempsey and it looks like it might be getting some blue color

The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an bacon and egg breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'."

I definatly belive it is not a JD, I'm thinking ethier Aequidens or Nannacara family. I'll flip through some of my books maybe I'll find a more deffinate name.

I think that it looks similar to a Carpinti, a fish that I used to own and it resembled your fish very much. I'd say that at this stage it looks more like a Carpinti than a JD, both fish that I have owned. Then again, I could be wrong.
