You should feed him some pellets, maybe some flakes, frozen bloodworms & brineshrimp, mysis shrimp. Also by the way what size tank is he in.

A varied diet is good with Oscars. I feed my guys peas, bloodworms (very messy!!), Hikari pellets (very good!), Nutrafin Cichlid sticks, some times frozen fish dinner's (it's got bloodworm and beefheart and fish and other things Oscars love). And some times, if i come across them, a couple of tetra's or a nice fresh cricket. Live food is only a treat, though, and i like to make my guys work for it by jumping out of the tank for the food. Especially crickets, it's great watching them chace them around the glass while i've got the water low from a vacuum!

A 10" Oscar will eat as much as you feed him... but you're best off restricting the amount they get to eat so you're tank stays clean. I suggest (and use) about 8-10 large Hikari pellets twice a day, maybe 5 pea's each every so often, a couple of earth worms or a teaspoon of Neutrafin for each fish. Don't feed them all of that at once... only one thing at a time.

I have seen full grown healthy oscars from 10" up to as big as 16". The 16 inchers I saw are at the alien invaders exhibit at the Cincinnati zoo. They also have some nice 12" sevs.
