bratyboy2![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Big Fish Posts: 355 Kudos: 340 Votes: 1 Registered: 21-Apr-2004 ![]() ![]() | okay so i couldnt stop looking at these awsome powder blue orange finned zebras. i got a dominat male and a got what i think to be a female. now my qusetion is how long do i have to wait for them to be big enough till they will breed? also im getting some OB Peakock cichlids and wanted to know how hard they are to keep he has 2 females and 1 male (blue OB)and has GIVING me the first generation. i want to make sure these to types will be okay their going into a 29gallon(just the pair and trio) and wanted to know if thie would be enough room for them to breed and be happy?/:' |

MR_CICHLID![]() Fish Addict Posts: 770 Kudos: 582 Votes: 124 Registered: 12-Aug-2003 ![]() ![]() | The zebra male is going to need several more females, to spread out his aggression and prevent him from killing the 1...And thus are not suited for a 29g... ![]() The O.B Peacocks being a hyrid species are far more aggressive than the Endemic species, and thus need at least a 3' tank for the trio....Min 40g. ![]() They can be grown out in a 29g, but not properly maintained...And I wouldn't recommend to anyone to keep O.B Peacocks with any fish other than O.B. Peacocks as their very ![]() ![]() As for Breeding, Zexbra's are mature @ 2-2 1/2" most likely to breed @ 2 1/2-3"...But you'll need 2-3 more females and a 55g... O.B Peacocks mature @ 3", A trio will do O.k but you need a Min 3'/40g.... Reasearch before you purchase, it's always easier in the long run ![]() |
