hi i've just moved my 55 housing my oscar and blue lobster to a lovley new solid oak drawer/stand but my oscar isn't impressed he has gone white! looks like an albino now! Bless i think he got a bit stressed from the transfer.

the lobster took it all in his stride :%)

it has been about 30 mins and he is stilll in a huff with me i have turned off the lights in the aquarium and put in some stress coat and food

will he be ok?

is there anything else i can do for him to calm him down?

thanks guys

Just give him time to adjust, I'm sure he'll be fine soon.
Maybe try feeding him his favourite food may tempt him from his sulks

my oscar was the same way when i first got him (when i had him) i had him in a 10 gallon, so he could grow a few inches, then when i moved him to the 29, to continue growing, he never was the same, he never swam around all happy, he only ate once in a blue moon, then, he got ill and died just keep an eye out on him, try to perk him up

Just give him more time & check the water conditions, to see if they are the same or not. Keep the lights off & be patient.

yeh oscars tend to have more brains then your average fish and are more aware of such things. like when i had to remount my GF tank cause it sprung a leak they were none the wiser and just went about their goldfish duties, digging in the gravel!

Great to hear your oscar is back to normal. Be careful having that lobster with him, it may just become his favorite snack someday

my breeding pair os oscars were the same they cracked it whenever i did a water change! Oscars all have different attitudes.. Both of mine would go real pale and wouldn't eat for atleast 12 hrs after each water change! lol for a tough fish they are definately sooks :#(
