i have a 75 gallon tank i have one tiger oscar his 6 inches, i want to put something else with him but i don't know what? not dempseys i already have a pair of them in another tank, and not convicts i have them in another tank also. any ideas??

does it have to be a cichlid? if it does maybe parrots. 'if not then try large cats, etc. large "oddball" fish.

How about 4 silver dollars? Just make sure they are not so small that they will fit in the oscar's mouth.

My Oscar and one of my Gold Severums are best buds. You need something that will grow big enough that the Oscar won't look at it as food.

I'd say a severum or a firemouth. if you want to go with a firemouth, you'll need to find a fairly large one like around 3" or so. Not only would a smaller one be eaten, but it would be so scared with the bigger oscar around it would probably stress to death.

How about nothing. Keep the tank nice and pay attention to him/her. When you start to add tankmates is usually when you start to have trouble
