bettachris Ultimate Fish Guru Posts: 3875 Kudos: 4173 Votes: 452 Registered: 13-Jun-2004	right now my 4 1.5 inch oscars might be fin nipping my 5 in snake skin gorurami. is this natural? should i move them to a different tank.

If you actually do see the oscars messing with the gourami, then it would be a good idea to move it (the gourami) to avoid future problems. You would probably have to move it anyways, once the oscars grow up. Snakeskin gouramis tend to be pretty peaceful, compared to the semi-aggressive and somewhat larger oscars. And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

bpcichlid Small Fry Posts: 7 Kudos: 6 Votes: 1 Registered: 13-Feb-2005	yeah a bigger tank will be needed to house 4 oscars. But yes i wouldnt keep a gourami with oscars. Especially if they pair up and want to spawn, he'll be a goner.
