i have three small oscars right now and i added a female betta. they tried eatting her even though she is alittle smaller than her. my Q is could i add other small fish to the tank like guppies, platys, etc. common fw fish. if not what would u do if u were in my position.
move the oscars to another tank, or get the new fish and put them in a different tank. i really can't make up my mind.

What size tank are the oscars presently in? Remember if an oscar can get the fish in it's mouth or at least attempt to get it in it's mouth it's going to at least try to eat it. You could add different fish to the tank as long as the fish stay relitively the same size as the oscar and the tank is of course large enough to accomidate all.

Are you planning on a 125g tank for them in the immediate future.Dont add any more fish the tank is already overstocked with the 3 oscars. and not to sound rude but what were you thinking putting the betta in with them

Even a 20L is way to small a tank for 3 oscars.I'd guess at best nothing less than a 75 gallon tank for them to be happy.

not sure whats worse. the thought of 3 oscars in the 10g or the stupid employee that allowed someone to walk otu of the store with 3 oscars without even asking about the tank size.
