my oscars are at it.
just a few questions.
what is the best surface /thing to let them lay their eggs on.
i have noticed they have become very terrotorial and are beating up the other fish should i remove them.
and also one is albino and the other is a tiger oscar i suppose almost all t of the fry will be tiger as the albino is a recessive allele.

Regardless of the size of your tank, I'd remove ALL other fish before you lose them. The oscars will destroy them with ease. They will lay the eggs on a pre-cleaned site and will care for the young without question.

I would probably remove the other fish depending on how big the tank is and how big the oscars are.

As for the fry, most will come out tiger but you should get a small percentage, probably 10-25%, albino.

Good luck with them

Jason
