it looks like a jaguar cichlid or similar to it i have never seen that before

Well its an african i did know that, but a very pretty fish almost looks more like a sa though, but thanks for the article jason, your always so full of info .

Great fish, but hope you have a decent sized tank as they grow to about 10-12 inches. When fully grown they have a similar shape to a Texas, and their colouring is jet black with gold specks with looks very attractive. And they are actually from Madagascar. I have one about 3" in with Americans which he seems to have no problem with, and shows similar behavior, though seems to prefer they upper areas of my tank when sleeping.
