I haven't kept them but I've heard a lot of good things about them. There are several Gymnogeophagus you could choose from that would probably work. Depending on the tankmates and dimensions of the tank you might be able to get a severum. Again, depending on tankmates you might be able to do a male of one of the different Thorichthys (firemouths and related) species. These are Central American but very colorful. Jason |

They all look very colourful, are S. American and are quite peacefull. I'm at the moment developing a Malami tank but was thinking of a dwarf tank before. good luck. |
