Well he was really aggressvie, and only tolerated a 14" pleco....But he was very interactive with me as far as fish go...Going for the scraper brush, filter tube, gravel vac.
Kind seemed to know what i wa going to do in the tank, including feedings and was always there ready...
Just personality

My texas is very smart and very cute, when he sees me pick up the can of food he gets really excited and comes to the top and waits, very smart fish. But ive had a green terror and he was cool too. Ive never kept a jaguar though, plus their really nasty, even more than the other two fish.

Green terror all the way. I love mine. As soon as he sees me feeding my bettas, he knows that he's next and begins to swim back and forth really fast along the front of the aquarium. Make sure to keep the lid on the aquarium though. They like to jump, or at least mine does.

I've never kept a jag.

I have a GT who is still young. He reacts to feeding time but pretty much ignores me otherwise. He does like to hang out with my female blue acara though

I also have a mystery fish that I've been told is a Texas hybrid of some sorts; I believe it's a male. If I'm sitting on the couch he hangs out at that end of the tank to watch me; when I'm on the computer he's at the other end trying to visit. I can walk from one end of the tank to the other and he'll swim back & forth with me. He can be hand fed and also picks at my arm when I clean the tank. Plants to him are a toy, he digs them up, I replant, etc etc. Very interesting fish

(please excuse the water marks )

my Jags have lots of personality quite similar to an oscars

The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an bacon and egg breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'."

i have a madagascar black beauty, (paratalipia polleni) he has a lot of personality as well, some might even say hes got issues. he definatly knows when im coming into the room to feed, he waits at the top of the tank in the usual spot. sometimes i mess with him and put the food in at the other end.
