wish-ga  Mega Fish Dial 1800-Positive-Posts Posts: 1198 Kudos: 640 Registered: 07-Aug-2001   | My tap water is 7.4. I added crushed coral to my substrate to raise the ph so I could change over to africans. The ph is 7.8 and not budging. Is this the right level to put in some electric yellows and electric blues? thx in advance friends...  ~~~ My fish blow kisses at me all day long ~~~ |

Try and avoid anything below or above the recommended values. [font color="#C00000"]Lake Tanganyika............7.8 - 9.0 Lake Malawi..................7.4 - 8.6 Lake Victoria.................7.2 - 8.6[/font] p.s.
