I have a 75 gal tank i just purchased for cichlids. I have a green terror, a firemouth, a texas, and a leperiuns, sometimes they pick on eachother all except the leperinus nobody bothers him and he keeps to himself. But they dont do much damage and they are all babies right now anyway 2-3". But today i put in a little red terror, i didnt know what he was all about untill i got home and read that profile on here, now i wish i didnt buy him. But still all the fish are going after him and hes trying to get away and i feel bad for him, does he get agressive later in life? I might just take him out i just figured that maybe cause hes the new guy hes getting picked on. And maybe they would get used to eachother. Do you think that more hiding places would help?

relandscape the tank so all the fish can establish there own teritory agian, this has worked for me several times before and may for you too :%)

The difference between 'involvement' and 'commitment' is like an bacon and egg breakfast: the chicken was 'involved' - the pig was 'committed'."

changing around the decorations in the tank will help for now, however once that red terror gets to around 6-7" it will probably wipe out the rest of the tank. They do get very aggressive but not until they reach maturity. You will eventually need another large tank eventually. the texas and green terror may be able to stay together in the 75 as they get bigger but I'd bet that they will start fighting as they reach adulthood and it's probable that whoever loses will be killed. If the red terror is female then it could stay in a 75 for life but she'd probably have to be kept alone. If the red terror is a male it would be much better off in a larger tank cause male's can grow in excess of 16".
