ok i will soon have a 29g, and a open 10 gallon, I want a shell dweller tank and a rockdweller tank, im leaning towards the 29 for rock, or i coudl but a 20l and do shellies, any opinions( i alreayd have brichardi in a differant tank), coudl i have rockdwellers and shellies in the 29?

you could go any which way depending on species. 29g can fit both a rockdweller and a shellies if its of the smaller peacfull version like multis and Juli ornatus or something. You could have one or the other. Julis really wont use the full hight of the 29g maybe there is something else you can use solo in it. my 1st suggestion woulda been brichardi as those would fit well in a 29g but you have some allready.

the 10g your best bet would prolly be multis. they can accept offspring males better then the rest of the shell dwellers.

Might i suggest Shelldwellers, lots of great info there.

I'd say 10g for shellies and the 29g for a Julidochromis species.
