Didn't you just say on a poll that your severum was fully grown?

And when he gets to Heaven, to Saint Peter he will tell: "One more Marine reporting, Sir! I've served my time in Hell."

I suppose a good question is what are you currently feeding it?

An omniverous diet of flake food or cichlid pellets, and possibly some occasional veggies like shelled peas or lettuce would probably be good for your Severum.

Quality cichlid flake or pellet. Usually I reccomend pellets more. Try to feed it some tubifex worms or blood worms, usually they will happily take it. If you have it, brine shrimp will help supplement some high protein that will induce faster growth rates.

My sev's diet:
tetra flakes
wardley tubifex worms
hikari cichlid staple
tetra cichlid pellets
frozen brine shrimp
He also likes plants which is why I no longer have real plants in my tank, just fakes. Lastly but not least, he likes baby fish, which is also why I have one less baby zebra cichlid.

I feed a mix of processed and frozen: Hikari Cichlid Staple,Tetra Select Tropical Crisps, freeze dried plankton, frozen blood worms and shrimp. They also nibble on the lettuce, zuchini and cucumber I feed my pleco. As an occasional treat I feed watermelon, bits of earthworns, crickets and live ghost shrimp.
The sev expert at my lfs says their growth start to slow down at 4-5 inches. They add less overall size but more mass. Mine are at this point and seem to have slowed their growth a bit.
