I'm going to be getting a new 20l to set up as another shellie tank

I have multies & brevis...I've been thinking about stapps, occies, speciosus, signatus. Leloupi, hecqui, orange scribble are also options and available to me but I don't know much these three.

Throw your ideas & suggestions this way...if you have any of these species do you recommend them & why.

Thanks.

Off topic, but I haven't seen LittleMousling around here in some time

The Tang section is suffering for it...

I don't think orange scribbles and leleupi are technically shelldwellers. They're cave spawners in my experience, although I guess they might spawn in shells if the shells were big enough.

I've kept those, plus multies and brevis from your list. Of the ones you mentioned I think I'd go with signatus or speciosus, both are pretty little fish.

Leleupi aren't - but leloupi are. Different fish, believe it or not.

Orange scribbles will happily live and spawn in shells; they're not shell dwellers in the lake, but many of our more common species aren't, either, so I'm willing to let them on the list.

Are leloupi a Neolamprologus? I haven't heard of them before.

Yes, although the genera are always flopping around. It's quite rare but we actually have a member at Shelldwellers.com who's keeping some right now! Very cool all around.
