Got it today , later found out what it was. He she or whatever is a little smaller than the ones I have. Got 2 more today too. So far just my male socofoli chases the new one, plus the others too. Not beating snowy up, just chasing. My concern is that I did read some info on albino's and it said because they were different they would be picked on. True? I set up my 10 gallon last night just in case I had a problem with this pretty fella. Anyone have luck with an albino in there tank?Shoul I iscolite him in the small tank? Thanks for any input. |

Sometimes it will stop after a few days, sometimes it will never stop. It all depends on how territorial the aggressor is, the size difference between the two, the size of the tank etc. Did you rearrange some of the rocks before you added the new fish? This will make the first fish lose some of their territory. Socolofi are usually not hyper-dominant fish, so things may calm down soon. If not, you can rearrange rocks and even take out the aggressive fish, put him in another tank for a day or two and then put him back in the main tank. If there are still problems, you may have to look at other possible issues, such as the ratio of females to males, the number of caves in the tank etc., and make some changes.
