Hello I am new to cichlid and in need of some help. I was told that my fish was a spinosissimus when I bought it. If anybody could check out the pic's at the www below and let me know if this is the case, that would be swell.

Kind of hard to tell by the pics, but it definitely could be Archocentrus spinossissum. Do a search on google for that scientific name and you should find all kinds of pics to compare to. They are somewhat closely related to convicts.
