We're deciding in the next day or two between the 75 and 90g, hopefully this will be my last stocking post for a while

Which of the following fish could I keep in a 75g? A 90g? I'm not interested in pairs or breeding but a variety of fish.

JD
severum
geophagus jurupari
salvini
green terror

I also currently have a 1.5" female con and ~3.5" male firemouth.

What sort of bottom feeders could I have? (not interested in common plec)

Are there any dither fish that could be kept with the above?

Thanks again

I'm somewhat confused by what you are asking. Are you asking if those fish are ok size wise to go in a 75 or a 90? If so than you wouldn't have any problems keeping either of those fish in a 90. If you are talking about compatibility than I would be a bit concerned with the jurapuri and the severum being in with the JD and Green Terror. Severums and Jurapuris are peaceful as far as cichlids go. BTW, go with the 90, not much of a price difference and you always want to go as big as you can afford.

Sorry if I wasn't clear...yes, I was asking about compatability.

So the geo and severum are out, what about the others together in a 90g?

Yeah, the Salvini, GT and JD should be fine in a 90. Just include a lot of hiding places and keep em well fed and you shouldn't have a problem. Also, the Convict and the Firemouth would be fine in their as well. As far as bottom feeders go, you could try Pictus cats. I've always had good luck with Pictus and SA cichlids.

I'm mostly concerned about the GT...are there any other options I could try instead?

i'd leave out the gt and go with a female salvini, jack dempsey and then the con and firemouth you already have. adding a gt would be too many large fish in a 90 gallon, imo.
