Did you end up with somewhere to put them for now? The offer still stands, if you need a temporary tank. Nice fish, BTW.

They're zaire blue for sure, you can tell about how the stripe on the face makes a V, others dont.

Not sure about kitumba, a bit too young..

The colors arent quite showing yet either?

Riverfront has a half dozen juvenile F0 'Zaire purple' fronts right now at about $70 each...I am seriously tempted, I must admit.

Hi Christian
Would their Sat special apply to these guys do you think.?? At that price they probably won't be there on Sat.

Update on my fantastic fronts.

All seem heathy, but these guy's are very shy, they hide a lot just come out to eat, and then back to their cave's.
Hope they come around soon hard to watch them.
Just received a call from the guy I split with on buying these, he has 2 that are too small for his wild's and asked would I like to buy them, so my group will go to 7.
Quick question, if f1 stock are spawned with wild stock what would they be f1 or f2.
Tom

Ok, just found out that my fronts are Kapampa and not Kitumba as I first thought.

- classed as f2 i believe despite one half being f0.

glad to hear they are doing well. to help them come out and about more, have you tried leaving the tank lights off, while having your room lights on? they feel happier with subdued or murky lighting, especially so with the f0's. if you already have the lights off, then all i could suggest would be regular small feedings to help them get comfortable, and used to seeing you!

good luck

x
