Right off the bat, it's not that important that you feed your oscar feeder fish. If fact, they do not make good food. Because of the store conditions and inbreeding, most commonly sold feeder fish contain diseases. They also contain very little nutrients. That is why brine shrimp, bloodworms, or even earthworms make much better food than feeders. I'm not knocking your idea. However, you should feed the fish to your oscars as treats only.

If you are still looking for feeder fish, that I would suggest fancy guppies. They are kept in much better conditions than feeders and breed very easily. With very little work, you will have a tank swimming with babies.

- Best of luck

I agree with DJ with the exception that I personally don't think that brine shrimp (I'm assuming adult size) really have enough nutrional value especially for a fish as large as a oscar. The earthworms in my opinion are the best choice as well as the larger cichlid pellets, sticks, etc. if your oscar will take them.
