lelupi get to about 5" when adult so a pair in a 20g would be maximum i would say. they need lots of rockwork.

a 10g will suffice while it is 1", but i am sure you will remember it will grow to that 5" and will need a bigger tank.
leleupi are notoriously difficult to sex, i'm afraid - you usually have to guess from behaviour.

If it's any help at all on the sex, my female is about 4 1/2" but the male is 3" max.

but you do have to wait til their big to even guess at the sex...

Also if your looking to breed you can't force a pair by getting a male and female. You have to get min.6 and let them form their own pair, natural selection is the only way to do it right
