I have a mixed community consisting of a blue acara, firemouth, keyholes, angels, L. dorsigera, convict, and my [link=mystery cichlid]http://www.fishprofiles.com/files/forums/Cichlid%20Central/51648.html" style="COLOR: #FF9933[/link].

I'm not sure if it's the nature of the fish or this particular mix but there's a lot of hiding in the tank. Would dither fish help, and if so what are some suggestions that would work in this tank?

Put a small school of danios in there, that might help.

Danios would look good in there...would they cause problems with the angels? And would I have to worry about them getting eaten?

is the convict a male or female? if not for the convict, I'd say you could go with some platys or mollies. Even with the convict this could be possible. I'd just keep a close eye on the con.

The convict is a female and still small, ~1.5"

Would either giant danios or congo tetras work? And if so, could I get a trio or would I need a school-sized group?
