But as your best guess by eye will be: the males have more black on the anal fins and a black "stripe" across the eyes. 2" is still alittle young for that to be 80% acurate, but will give you an edge on getting/knowing the sex. |

But it is fairly accurate to be able to tell by their pectoral fins...the lighter pectoral fins, some almost white or white are generally female. The males tend to have black pectoral fins. However, In the absence of a Male the dominant female will show male coloring. So the only true way is to vent ![]() |
