Sorry but it will grow very quickly into something that will not have enough space and it will destroy the other inhabitants even quicker. It would be OK in that sized tank if it was alone. |

Also, if you do come across them they would most likely be labelled differently and price would reflect the difference. The best way to attain the other species is through http://www.tangledupincichlids.com. 2-4 different oscar species are commonly available from this site. To answer the question though, yes zebra oscars are probably the most natural form of oscars that you can find. I bought 6 once to grow up and at ~3-4" the orange started showing up and the white gradually faded to a darker grey color that blended in with the rest of the black/dark grey coloration. Jason |
