Hi everyone. I am getting rid of my Clown Knife and African Butterfly because they no longer belong in the tank I have them in. Both of them are very healthy! The Clown Knife is about 5"-6" long and has been eating frozen meats as well as live guppies and ghost shrimp. The African Butterfly is about 3"-3.5" long and has been eating frozen meats, live guppies, the occasional live bug (to immitate their natural instinct in the wild) and I've noticed he/she will also eat small floating pellet foods. For those who don't know, both of these fish are nocturnal and become really active at night! So if you have a moon lit tank, you will get to see them swim around alot! At their sizes, I'd like the African Butterfly to go in no less than 30 gallons and the Clown Knife needs to be in no less than 55 gallons (until he gets larger). They hide during the day, so please have adequate caves or thick plant life for the Clown Knife, but the African Butterfly seems to do ok just hanging out in a dark corner at the top of the tank all day until the lights go out. I will be getting pictures of these two fish ASAP so you all can see them. Also, I have NO experience in shipping fish and therefore I'd like this to be a PICK-UP only. I would also be willing to meet you somewhere if it's not too far from town. I am located in Jacksonville, FL just south of the Mandarin area. Once again, these fish are FREE as long as I know they are going to a good home. Thanks!

I want your ABF. To put it lightly.. I will be happy to work something out.

I would love a clown knife. But alas I know what they need when they are full grown and I have no intention of ever housing one in a 200+ gallon tank...Sorry my friend. I'll ask around for you tho.

Cheers

Shannen

BTW, the ABF will go in a 90 gallon with severums and a BGK.

and they will both be fed a nice supply of guppies.

Sure Shannen, not a problem. If you'd still like pictures, let me know as well. We can just meet up somewhere close in Mandarin since you said you are in that area. I have no problem with it, and in 90 gallons, I'm sure the ABF will thrive...not to mention love the space!

And I'd really appreciate it if you could ask around for my Clown Knife. He/she deserves a good home and I don't want him/her to be sitting in a small tank in our store for a long period of time. He/she is VERY healthy and swims all over the place at night!
