I am currently in the process of cutting down on a number of tanks so I can have a sizeable collection to go to college. Everything here is free--yes, you heard me, free:

1 L-333 male, great specimen, albeit young.
1 L-66 male, huge at 5+ inches in length; great odontodal growth
6-10 albino ancistru fry, depending on how many I decide to personally keep
8 sterbai fry, some of which have stunted barbels, though others have a full set, as well as the parents; I guess there must just be something in the water
2 tank bred cardinals, medium sized

Pickup would probably be the only viable option.

WOW, someone else in San Diego??? Fabulous

I'd be interested in them all depending on the cost? Anyway to see some pics as well?

I live near downtown, and would be happy to pick them up or meet you somewhere.

Let me know, and feel free to e-mail me directly at s_wedlake@hotmail.com

Thanks in advance

Sure thing. However, the only fish still available are the cory sterba fry (adults were sold as well) and the cardinals. Be aware that some of the corydoras fry have barbel erosion, though for what reason I do not know. I kept the sterba parents aeneus orange stripe, adolfois, and brochis sp. "black" in the same tank and their barbels are long and flowing. I guess it's just a developmental thing.

Unfortunately, I do not have pictures of the fry themselves but here are the parents:

cardinals with parents (only two left)@1 year old:

EDIT: Also, I cannot e-mail you as it seems gmail has an issue with sending things to msn hotmail accounts. However, I live in Rancho Penasquitos and would be happy to pm you any details you desire to iron out.

Fabulous looking fishies. I'll take whatever you have left

The barbel erosion isn't an issue. I know it can happen. I've had a few come that way, and they seem to follow the others just a bit closer Doesn't matter to me, I find them adorable.

I do have another e-mail address if you want to try it?

shariwedlake@yahoo.com

If that doesn't work for you, feel free to PM me and we can get together that way. Are you busy this weekend?

I had the adults in a large gravelled tank, and according to the local breeders I've contacted, larger substrates seem to result in barbel erosion in younger specimens during development.

Great. PM sent. The two cardinals and at the very least, two cory sterba (we'll see how many are left in the tank--I in fact, don't even know, but last I checked, there were two that joined the L-124 for feeding this afternoon) will be bagged up come sunday morning. Pick up is preferred. The rest of the details will be ironed out later.

Bad news. someone dropped by while I was out at the Del Mar farmer's market and took the last of the sterbas. Sorry.
