Hey guys - i desperatly need some silk or live plants for my betta tank ( 3 gallon ). Can anyone for OZ ( in victoria if possible help me ?

Coz I know of some-where you could get a fairly cheap tank thats new. (I am also in Wang.)

hey snoopy i was only after one or two cheap plants and i can only find ppl that sell like 9 for $10.00 can you suggest any more places ?
And also what pet shop do you buy from in wang ?

holmes wholsalers, the one near safeway, he may sell you individual plants, I know that craigs critters will only sell them by the 1/2 dozen.

I have bought most of my fish from him, and they do seem to be a little higher quality than craigs critters.

If I was to suggest any petshop in Wang, I would strongly suggest you go to holmes'.

He also sells fairly cheap tanks as well. I am currently purchasing several tanks from him, from the standard 4 foot tank priced at just $177 (Tank, stand and c/g included)

I buy from him also as his fish and fish products are cheaper than craigs critters and also he has a lot more fish to choose from and i find he can offer better advise. But hey what do i know i only just recently went back to the hobby of fishkeeping ! And i will ask you questions most often. Thanks for the reply snoopy.

I have only gotten back into fish keeping last x-mas, but have learnt lots from Robert, he is a good bloke to get to know, as he knows a hell of a lot about fish.

Craigs critters, your right, they dont have much of a variety there. I think thats y I prefer to go to holmes', and for the fact that Robert knows a lot more about fish, which helps.

Craigs critters is that bad that I had to "ORDER" an oscar through him.

Now when you have to 'order' some of the most common fish around, it means they can't be a very good pet store, especially for fish.

Personally, I think he worries about his reptiles too much, considering not a lot of ppl around this area could really afford to spend $500 + on a small snake and snake setup.
