Hey - there is a woman who is moving who has 2 commons in a 30 gallon tank that she has had for 12 years as family pets (Big John and Little John).

She is moving and would like to find the fish a good home. I now have 3 tanks and am not able to get permission from my co-habitants to get more.

If anybody between LA and Mexico is interested in (or knows anyone interested in) two well-loved fish and all there stuff I would be happy to get them from her (she's asking $20 bucks and she lives in San Diego) and give them to you (I'll even drive them to your house!) for free. Ideally it would be great if someone has a pond they can put the fish in (so they have space and can grow big!) and wants an extra 30 gallon as a bonus prize for rescuing the John's.

But anyone who will take the fish and keep them alive, even in their current home, is better than someone buying the tank for $20 and trashing the fish.

My heart goes out to them so I'm interested in helping this happen. If you know anyone in southern California who can help, please let me know.
