Heya,

I'm after some plants... in particular Val (not really fussy on what kind) and/or any other bits of plants anyone may have lying around.

I've got tons of Elodea & a few (ok-ish) Java Ferns I can trade... maybe a few other random odds and ends too...

I'm on the Upper North Shore, but I'm happy to pick up from pretty much anywhere between Southerland, Penrith & Gosford .

Cheers,
Sin

Sin,
You should check into shipping costs for small packets to canada. I could ship you some Jungle Val, and maybe a spiralis or two, if you were willing to ship back some elodea and/or what have you.
I can ship to australia 0-250grams for 6.40.
Im sure it would probably be the same back- pretty easy to ship, I would just get some of that planting fluff and some water retaining gel and wrap it all up in wet newspaper and pop it into a tiny dip sized plastic container or some such thing. Cheap and easy! Let me know.

im pretty sure youd have to go through all the customs and wildlife stuff as your importing plants, but you may want to look into it

it'd be too hard with borders and the like, would be well over $1000 to import i should imagine.

<~~ Agrees with Rhino & Calla... Importing live things into Aus is more hassle than it's worth... & WAY too expensive... But thanx for the offer Pete

Well I know that Canadapost has rules: However on its site it says "All Plants shipped internationally must be accompanied by a "phytosanitary certificate", with the exception of Aquarium Plants for Aquarium Use".
Perhaps check on your Postal website under banned, dangerous, and prohibited goods and rules. Maybe it would say there.
