mike, what kind of angels have you got? I'm looking for a baby gold or gold pearlscale, maybe 2 (as small as possible right now )

I dont have much right now that I'm looking to get rid of, just a honey gourami and female pineapple swordtail and also we have a MAJOR excess of swordtail fry in my school tank that my friend and I maintain.

edit: this goes for anyone who has angels, i just saw that mike mentioned them

I've got dime to nickle size Golds, Gold Marbles and Black Lace. I don't really want any swordtails or Gouramis but I'll send the Angels and you can mail me the shipping cost.

I've got a ton of Angels.

Hey Inko,
That's too bad. i think we'll just skip it and when your Pulchers breed you can send me some of those.

Hey Devon,
Do you have an LFS who'll take the extras? I could send a half dozen and you could take your pick and give or sell the rest to your LFS or give them to a friend.

Unfortunately I don't have a digital camera or scanner so no pics.

EDIT: postage should be less than $10

Mike

They arent shellies, they're rock dwellers. They need about 20 gallons a trio.

I dont see why anyone in Canada cant join in, as long as someone is willing to trade with them .

If picolio joined in, I'm sure he would be interested in some of your platies, and he does order online for his fish, and he has some large communitie tanks.

Hey, Natalie (that is your name, correct?--I'm not sure), if you do get your cories to produce some fry, I could really use some more ground cover in some of my tanks .

EDIT: Once my pandas get settled back into their 20 gallon, I'll see if they produce any more fry. I'm not too great with keeping them alive, though. In my last batch, only three baby pandas survived.

I ordered Apistogamma Agasizzi'sand Cacatuoides online and the came in this little skinny bag 2 to a bag. I'm sure 4 Kribs will be okay.

The shipping is a push as far as I'm concerned. If at some point we trade later and you're loaded with something send a few extra, if not I'm not worried about it. You pay for shipping the Fronts and I'll pay for shipping the Kribs.

I'm for trying Canada too. I'll see what I can find out from my end and you Canuks do the same. What part of Canada are you in?

Wahoo, Mike

The Mollies are assorted flavors, they are crosses between white lyre tails and this black male with yellow and blue sparklies.

Some of them are dalmation, some are white, some white with yellow splotches, some dull yellow with black edges on the fins, some are gray with a blue cast.

Hey mike,

i checked with the post offices. UPS is $40 overnight for 2.5 LBS...doesnt matter about the size of parcel either....

Two day is only $16 though.

Another thing, one front dissapeared. I have absolutely no idea what happened to it, but the larger of the two is still alive.

Would you like anything else?? I work at a LFS and can probably buy the fish, quarantine, and ship it to you.

Don't buy anything, just send the one Front. I'm wanting to get a 120-180 for my loaches and a big old Frontosa would look pretty cool in there.

Next trade, when your Brichardis or Pulchers breed, you can send a few extra.

What are Daffodil Pulchers? Are we talking Acara here because there's different Pulchers? Kribs are Pelvicachromis Pulcher.

The Post Office is only $21 for 3 lbs Express Mail. That's overnight from here to you. Don't go UPS, $40 is double the Post Office (United States Postal Service) price.

Yeha, Mike

If you dont mind waiting a little, a little searching and I have a 50% chance of finding you a microworm culture "start off". If I do find it, I'll send the front and microworm culture at the same time.

I meant neolamprologus pulcher "daffodil" and neolamprologus brichardi

Are the Neolamp Pulchers shellies? And if you've got a line on microworms wait a bit to send it with the Front.

Thanks, Mike

Yup. I'm going to e-mail you the address to my wife's office. If you send them there they'll get taken inside right away.

Maybe I ought to go to work for the Post Office. It seems like they get alot of holidays that I don't.

Thanks, Mike

The fish are in the mail. I sent you an e-mail with the tracking # and such. I was 25 minutes late for the overnight guarantee but sent them anyway. They are guaranteed to be to your door by noon on Wed.

The cooler only held 4 bags so I only sent 16 fish.

The grand experiment begins, Mike

I guess tomorrow, Mike

Awesome! I've recieved the fish today in VERY good condition. The water was still in good quality, very clear. The fish were all alive and are starting to show specks of red on their bellies already.

I'll ship the frontosa on Monday. I still have not found a microworm starter yet. PM or Email me your address please.

THANK YOU!

Cool! I just used air from an Aqauruim pump. I was a little worried about that.

Anybody else want to try trading fish through the mail? I've still got Kribs, Mollies, Swordtails and Angelfish.

I'll ship first so you'll have the cooler and box to send your end of the trade to me.

The adventure continues, Mike

Wow, it's nice to know that the fish arrived on time and in one piece. Btw, does anyone have any cardinal tets on hand? My LFS keeps getting in gnarly looking specimens that either die before they get home, or transmit ich throughout your entire aquarium (I'm on ich treatment right now . Responses would be greatly appreciated.

I check at the post office, and the qoute they gave me for shipping to colorado would be over 40.00 Canadian.

Mike,

Several people on the list I'm on (detritus) has reccomended you to just start a culture yourself. They werent sure how I would send it to you either, or give you a piece of it...

Is there anything else your looking for? Hopefully I will have the Frontosa sent out on Monday (I have no school either, so I plan to be there way in the morning so it makes it to your house without delays. Packages before 1 are processed and shipped, so I'll have it in there by 10-11 just in case.

If theres anything your looking for, let me know, I might be able to find it.

Cup of life noodles.
Lots of stores down here in SF has cardinals for about $1 a piece. Neons are cheaper.

Hi Inko, Sounds good, I get off at 2 on Wed. when they should be getting here if you ship Priority.

Not really looking for anything specific. Next I'd like to try shellies.

I was give 2 adult N. Brichardi today if anyone is interested in those. I'm not sure if they are a pair or what sex they are. They spent a year in one of the LFSs I sell to and she wanted them gone so she gave them to me.

Mike
