i am looking for whole salers for fish and suplies, fish stores are getting to expencive, but if i knew a whole saler, i would gladly buy whole lots

Wholesalers will only sell to you if you have a business license. Most will only ship to you if you have a store front.

Often not just a matter of buying whole "lots". What would you do with 50 clown loaches or 200 tetras anyways????

The one guy I work with locally has a minimum $$$$$ amount as well that the purchase must total to.

And that is besides the fact that like he mentioned above you are going to run into issues if you don't have business liscense and tax ID number because wholsalers are selling to individuals who plan on resaling the fish/equipment and are exempt from paying sales tax on it since tax will be charged on the items when resold. Follow me? So for a wholesaler to sell to you they'd have to charge you taxes since you do not have a tax exempt ID for your state, or the seperate federal one, etc etc etc etc etc It gets kinda complicated
