Baby Danios! | |
zookeper Hobbyist Posts: 106 Kudos: 62 Votes: 6 Registered: 19-Apr-2007 | Today I decided to move my 3 Danios that were living in my 16 gallon fantasy bowl to the 55 gallon so they would have friends as I have more Danios in the big tank. The 3 in the 16 gallon I have had for like 3 years and they were my starter fish. Well, I know I only had 3 Danios in there but when I went to net them I pulled out the decorations and there I found 3 more lil danios. Yup, they must have had eggs hatch not to long ago and 3 of the hatchlings made it. They are maybe a 1/4 inch if that and very thin. Back weeks ago I had noticed 2 of the danios were really really fat so that must have been the eggs. How cool! I have never had baby fish before. They are now all in the 55 gallon and schooling with the danios in there. One big happy family. |
