I have been watching my Rasboras most of the day and they are laying eggs all over. I doubt the eggs will make it but I do hope a couple do. I don't have another tank to put them in so the other fish will most likely eat the eggs. Is there anything I can do to try and help the eggs along. I do have alot of fake plants and a couple real plants in the tank. I was reading that the lights should be off but not sure if it will hurt my plants or not. How long until the eggs should hatch? I can see one that fell but it is on top of a plant leaf and none of the fish seem to be messing with it. This is just really cool to me as I thought I would never get a chance to see any breeding as my water is so hard. The female is even trying to lay her eggs on the long air stone I have, it is not on. Any ideas or suggestions I could do to try and keep the eggs safe would be great. Also how do I take care of the babies if they hatch? Thanks Live life to it's fullest |
