I saw these today at my LFS and i really like them. They are colorful and seem to school quite nicely as well. I searched the profile here but i did not find them. Can anyone give me some info on them? Are they hard to keep?

My tank: 29 gallon
3 Zebra Danios
1 Dwarf Gourami
4 Black Ruby Barbs
2 Bolivian Rams

From [link=fishbase.org]http://www.fishbase.org/Summary/SpeciesSummary.cfm?id=10371" style="COLOR: #EB4288[/link]. I'd be slightly worried about adding them to a tank that has such a small school of danios.

I can tell you that they are quite hardy and extremely easy to keep. (Indeed, aquarium shop owners have always been somewhat mystified by their inability to sell them.)

You can find scads of Web info on them under their scientific name: Rasbora borapetensis.

according to Fishbase they're rasbora einthovenii.
Anyway, my experience tells me that all rasbora species, big and small, are extremely shy and sensitive to stress.
No need to worry about the fish you keep when it comes to agression from the rasboras.

Your current stock list doesn't show any agressive fish, so a school of r. einthovenii would do just fine in your tank.
