Checkered Barbs | |
cjp Hobbyist Posts: 145 Kudos: 43 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Jan-2001 | Does anyone keep these,and at what water temp?I'm thinking of adding 6 to 8 of these to my 75gal.,but with my clown and zebra loaches I keep the water at 80.I'm wondering if that may be to high a temp.(different sites post different water temps.)Thanks,cjp. |

cjp Hobbyist Posts: 145 Kudos: 43 Votes: 0 Registered: 22-Jan-2001 | Clownloaches really like temps closer to 80 than 74.I've had mine for 4 years now and have not had any problems.The same with my zebra loaches that I've had now for a year.Now this has worked for me,I'm not trying to say you are wrong.You might have the same results with lower temps.This is just from my results.It's working and I'm going to stay with it,not going to push my luck.The checkerd barbs like lower temps.,I was just wondering if anyone has kept them at this temp.I might go with cardinal tetras,they also like their water on the warmer side.Thanks for your thoughts.cjp. |
