Hey folks,

I was just wondering how long danios were supposed to live? I have 3 zebras that basically went thru new fish keeper tank hell that have now manged to make it close to 2 years and I was wondering how long their lifespan was.

I have used these 3 to start 3 new tanks and they went thru all the mistakes of a rookie fishkeeper, but they keep on going.

4 years is good... but more is possible... Lots of factors come into play when figureing lifespan however... Food, Temperature and even pH.

Id agree with about 4 years. Ive had mine for about 4 years and about half of then have died and the rest are still kicking around for a wile longer so id say average 4 years but some may hit 5-6 or even longer it really depends.
