But on a closer observation, naaaa. Ok, here's a bit of desc The pelvic fins are hair like filaments which normally stick to the body of the fish while its swimming. The tail is more scissor shaped than concave (as in the case of the ricefish). A golden line runs across the body of this fish along its spine. This color is visible on the gill covers as well. Bruce, you almost got it. It looks like a Oryzias Melastigma. Its a ricefish native to indian subcontinent. I found it attractive enough to be placed in a planted tank. And they are good schoolers as well. Thanks. |
