Galaxy rasboras, how to breed | |
pookiekiller12 Fish Addict Posts: 574 Kudos: 633 Votes: 41 Registered: 13-Apr-2004 | I am setting up a tank just for some of these guys in hopes of them breeding. I have a 20 gallon long. I am planning oin using an aquaclear filter for 20 to fifty gallons, but turned down low(they are adjustable)(the filter is completely cycled, an extra one I have had on my 55 gallon). Would there be an advantage to a bare bottom tank? I was planning on using java moss, java fern and possibly crypts and anubias. They are about 1cm long at the moment. As they are a newer fish, breeding reports are scarce, but it is reported to have been done. They are fed cyclopes and brine shrimp in the store. any suggestions would be welcome. Thank you |

Not very extensive, but it may give you some ideas as to the requirements. http://indianaquariumhobbyist.com/community/modules.php?name=Forums&file=viewtopic&p=47691 Jim |

Cali has posted a link to another page with tips, and we're hoping that Natalie has some luck with breeding them and we'll get a few tips on that thread. Good luck, they're a lovely fish. |
