Thing is, I had noticed he was getting a little rough around the edges, and since he was around 4 years old and living under some stress for the last while, was thinking I might see the end of him sometime soon, but not like this!! Too bad my little girl was having a sleepover and woke up with a tiny crispy fish next to her pillow in the morning... Talk about yelling!! *sigh* Watch out folks, the l'il buggers can jump!! ![]() Last edited by littlecatjoe at 27-Nov-2005 12:05 |

Tinfoil barbs are especially skilled, large ones can jump pretty danged far. Even small barbs can clear a few inches out of the water. Sorry to hear about your critter. ![]() |

I'd managed to have a rosy barb jump from a covered 10 gallon, a coworker found him one morning. It was right after I'd added a second male to the tank, I have a feeling it was peer pressure that drove him, that or rejection from the girl ![]() ^_^ ![]() ![]() |
