It depends on many factors, including water temperature, what they are fed, how clean the water is, etc. With that being so, it is hard to get an exact estimate on how long a specific barb will live. |

Bettachris said "reg", short for "regular"; that may have confused you. And actually, I've seen more tiger barb color variations than just the ones you mentioned. Besides those, there are black tiger barbs, "blushing" tigers (they have a red spot on each side, near each eye), and green-striped tigers. These are just the ones that I've seen with my own eyes, now. I'm sure that there are more color variations out there, and more will certainly be created. |
