my female has laied eggs....i think? i got a bredding net and have the so called "eggs" in the net. What do the eggs look like and when will they hatch? She laid them about 4 days ago.

What you "caught" are probably not eggs.
Barb eggs hatch within 24 hours.
Barb eggs are about half a milimeter in diameter and look goldish yellow.

Cherry barbs usually shatter their eggs in pairs.
The male wraps his tail around the female and when they "jump" apart, the eggs and sperm are released. If you don't see the eggs, the other fish in the tank surely will. They'll be there to catch there bite of caviar.
