	Rasbora espei (Lambchop rasbora)

(They're well worth the search: much brighter in color than Harlequins, and strikingly beautiful against a dark background.)

The only thing I don't understand is why they are so fat. Even when I don't feed them, they are still fat. I am afraid it may be internal parasites

bensaf Fish Master Posts: 1978 Kudos: 1315 Registered: 08-Apr-2004	You can also keep an eye out for Hengali Rasbora. Very similar to Espei and often mistaken (the pic on the profile here for Espei is in fact a Hengali, I'm pretty sure). To me the Espei is like a Harlie with more orange rather then red. The Hengali is a little smaller then both and the black marking is more "lambchop" shape and the orange stripe above is incredibly bright against a black background. In my mind the Hengali offers a stronger contrast to the Harlie as the Espei is so similar to the Harlequin, but, of course, has all the good Rasbora qualities. Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue. Remember that age and treachery will always triumph over youth and ability.

You could try fish2u.com or simply google the name of the fish and see what pops up. Some days you're the pigeon and some days you're the statue.
