However, I've noticed mine have been squabbling an awful lot, almost as much as my tiger barbs used to (though not nearly as ferocious) Yesterday i noticed for the first time that three of them have chunks bitten out of their tail fins. It's nothing debilitating, and they're swimming fine, but it's strange that the "bites" are both in the same place, and are exactly the same in shape and size. Usually two will pair up, then wiggle very quickly and swin tight circles around each other, then they both nip at eachothers' tail. There are 15 of them, and I thought that would be big enough of a school to control aggression, but I guess not. I guess what I'm wondering is, is there anythign I can do about this? I mean, do you think breaking up sight-lines would help? I'm not sure if it's territorial or not, though. Anyone else have killer rasboras? |

With no fish big or aggressive enough to get them to scared to squabble. This is just a therory it might not be right Mr Moosegills |
