You could it'd be pushing the stocking a bit, depending on how much of the nitrAtes are being consumed by the plants. Rosy barbs are very active fish so the'll need room to swim.

You don't need to add a school of them. Roseys do great just as a pair. I almost always keep a pair in my planted tanks. The live for years. I usally take them out to the tubs and small ponds in my back yard during the summer, then bring them and the new babies back in for the winter.

*agrees* actually I was planning on building the school of rosy barbs, the two I'd started with pressured the new one into a suicide jump ... My two do quite well with each other.

You could add a pair or so, but I think you'd be better off adding one or two more kuhli and yoyo loaches. They really need to be kept in groups of at least three to be pretty happy, and more would of course be better.

Danios are fin nipper but nothing compared to tiger barbs. The danios are most likely not interested in other fish but the pecking order of the school that they are in.
Cherry barbs will do fine in a pair and you should bump up the school of kuhlis and yoyos as books said.
