Tank parramaters; 38g fairly well planted ph 6.8-7.0 28c temp two filters with low current in tank they are fed flake in morning and bloodworms and brine shimp at night also various vegies once or twice a week, cucumber, zuccini, lettuce etc. |

Bala sharks are not commonly bred in captivity and would not be showing breeding behavior at such a small size. ![]() I'm not your neighbor, you Bakersfield trash. |

The evidence seems to point to breeding behaviour, coinciding with high air pressure, new water and abundance of food. In my case the water had just been changed, they had been fed blood worms and they pressure was between 1017(lowest) and 1031(highest), over a three day period. The fact that my Silver sharks are not very big, about 3-3.5 inches is interesting, is this behaviour just practising or a direct result of conditions. There doesnt seem to be alot of information about breeding behaviour in these sharks, so im not sure when they reach sexual maturity. |
