![]() | Tiger Barb Problem i think |
skylinegtts![]() Hobbyist Posts: 135 Votes: 1 Registered: 22-Jun-2003 ![]() ![]() | Hey, i bought 6 tiger barbs for a 20G tank on tuesday and over the past 2 days ive noticed one of them has been picking on the rest. when i first saw it i put him in a breeding net for 1 day and then released him. it seemed 2 have solve my problem but now it has come back again. there are no other fish in the tank either. he is not the biggest there either. should i return him and get another one, there has not been any injury from what i have seen. just some nipping of the other fish and constantly chasing them all. this is my first experience with tiger barbs, and help would be appreciated. thanks |

But don't put in other fish that has long fins like guppies because they will surtently nipp that fish. So as i see it..there is no problems. With tigers among each other, everything should be fine soon; they're just settling the pick order. In every school one particular fish will become "the boss"; your school is new, so the have to determine that. The bully is just proving his worth to the others ![]() |
