How does this sound for a community tank?

1 x Redtail Shark
2-4 x Rosy Barbs
8-10 x Tiger Barbs
10-12 x Harlequin Rasboras

They will be going in a 55 Gallon aquarium with an AquaClear 500 power filter. I would just like everyone's opinion on this. Thanks!!!!

Sounds pretty good aquaman, I personally wouldn't do the rasboras, but they should work out okay. Make sure there's TONS of hiding spots in that tank, lots of plants, caves, etc...

Instead of the rasboras, I'd probably go with some ottos or cories to fill up the bottom a little bit more. Also help keep the tank a little cleaner, but like I said, that's just me...

PM/email/msg me if you have any questions/comments regarding me or my knowledge or if you want me to read a thread.

Rosy barbs are schoolers too, and you should go with the 4 @least if not a school of 6. If you don't want a full school of them, go with a small school of corys, maybe albino or pepper, something in the 2" range. Like was mentioned, you've got a fairly empty bottom otherwise.

^_^
