White Clouds aren't normally tight schoolers unless they are scared. With the Betta in the tank they might be a little scared. So it's possible that they will school fairly regularly. They rarely nip, so that won't be a problem.

Harlequin rasboras are pretty hardy fish, yes. They're usually fine in community fish tanks.

Not tight schoolers but my WCMM's make every effort to flare @each other....the guys that is. It's really rather amusing to watch. They will shoal closer together than my tetras ( ) at times.

I dunno guys, I wonder if you guys have enough Clouds.
My clouds all 17 of them, love to swim altogether at the top. I call them the "Cloud Gang"
I wouldnt say they are schoolers in the way that rummynose are (best schoolers ever possibly)
But they do form a large loose school at the surface and engage in flaring and dancing competitions the like of which I have never seen another small fish do.
I think Clouds have to be one of my absolute favorite little fish.

Heres a pic of half of my "gang" schooling.
